NetworkPeninsula is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that supports more than 230 nonprofits across the Peninsula through continuing education, Board Training, networking, information sharing, and expanded outreach. Our programs are designed to help nonprofits build their capacity to remain sustainable and fulfill their missions effectively.

Interactive Website — Post your Volunteer, Serviceor Item Needs on our website for the entire community to review; as well as your upcoming events on our Community Calendar New needs and upcoming events are also included in our Weekly E-Newsletters that go out to hundreds of community members, including businesses, individuals, and civic and faith-based organizations.

Monthly Continuing Education – Attend workshops designed specifically for nonprofit leaders, Board, and staff. Gain insight into how you can develop the tools needed to survive and thrive in today’s economy. Topics include social media marketing, Board development, strategic planning, volunteer management, grant writing, fundraising, estate & endowment planning, and more!

Board Training – Customized Board Trainings offered to full Boards at a time to help move your organization forward. Nonprofit members also have access to a database of prospective Board members who have taken part in our Nonprofit Board Training Series, offered to community members who currently serve or are interested in serving on a nonprofit Board. We also offer a Board Development Series of workshops to provide a deeper dive into vital board service topics including the role of the board in fundraising, fiduciary responsibilities of board members, succession planning, and more. 

Community Partnerships we work with area businesses, civic & faith-based groups to recruit volunteers; encourage participation in events; secure items needed; and coordinate collection drives & work days, fundraising events to benefit multiple nonprofits, and discounts for nonprofit employees.

Grants Research – Review grants database which provides upcoming deadlines by program category, with direct links to foundation websites and RFPs.

Nonprofit Network – Participate in Peer to Peer Groups and other networking opportunities held throughout the year to share ideas with other nonprofit leaders, hear from guest speakers, and serve as a sounding board for each other.

Youth Network – Promote your volunteer opportunities for students of all ages in our online Youth Network. Be part of our Aware Fairs and speaker’s bureaus to make youth in our community more aware of the volunteer opportunities available to them and how they can get involved. 

Impact Forums – A series of forums held each year to bring together business, community, and nonprofit leaders to discuss challenges and emerging topics. 

Resource Library – Stay current with the latest stats, news & trends affecting nonprofits today.
