Kids’ Night Volunteers Needed

One Child Center for Autism is in need of approximately 50 volunteers a month for their KIDS’ Night night of respite that they provide for families of children with autism in the community. Over 100 children attend our event for a night of fun supervised by 17 staff and 50 awesome volunteers.

The next Volunteer for KIDS’ Night is October 21 @ the WISC

Kids Night is about playing and have a good time! What better volunteer opportunity is there than that? KIDS’ Night is a monthly respite night for families with special needs children. The parents get a much-needed night off while their children, ages 1-16 enjoy a night at the WISC. It a service One Child Center for Autism offers as their way of giving back to the community, promoting emotional wellness for these families, and reducing stress by providing a safe, free service for special ed kids and only $5 for siblings.

KIDS’ Night Volunteers are there to play with the kids and help keep the kids safe in groups led by trained staff members. Its an active night for everyone of crawling, running, jumping and playing.
*Volunteers need to have completed the 8th grade. *It’s a one-time commitment from 4:30-9:15pm.
