NetworkPeninsula is offering a Series of Cohorts designed to meet nonprofit leaders where they are in their careers, and where they hope to be!

All Cohorts will follow a four-pillar approach:

• Leadership Coaching
• Instruction
• Peer-to-Peer Learning
• Mentoring

Overview:

These 5-month Cohorts will consist of a combination of in-person and virtual sessions involving expert instruction and peer learning. Individual and group coaching will be provided every month and will be scheduled directly with participants once accepted into the program. Following program completion, the participant will be matched up with a mentor, if desired, who will meet with the participant for up to 3 months. Each cohort will be limited to eight participants. All cohort participants will engage in monthly instructional, peer to peer learning, and coaching sessions that will focus on designated topics relevant to leadership and experience level. Each session will be facilitated by an experienced instructor or coach who will tailor the session to the specific needs of cohort participants, as identified on the applications. Cohort sessions will be pre-scheduled monthly with individual coaching sessions scheduled between coach and participant.

Program Timeline:

• Applications due: January 5, 2024
• Participant notification of acceptance into Cohort: January 15, 2024
• Cohort fee due: January 19, 2024
• Program Start date: February 2024
• Program End date: June 2024
• Personalized coaching and mentoring will end: September 2024

Cost – Participation per nonprofit staff person is $500 for NetworkPeninsula members ($550 for non-members) and includes a complimentary communications/leadership style assessment, 10 hours of instructor-led and peer-to-peer learning, 11 hours of coaching and mentoring, all class materials, follow on resources, and networking opportunities with all Cohort participants, instructors, coaches, and mentors. NOTE: A limited number of scholarships are available to cover 50% of this cost.

Participation Requirements:

  • To participate, you must submit a complete application, including current position description, and approval from approval from Executive Director or Board Chair.
  • Submission of application confirms your agreement to participate in all scheduled individual and group sessions.
  • Participation in all monthly cohort and coaching sessions is required between February 2024 and June 2024 (with the exception of being matched with a mentor, which will be the participant’s choice)
  • Completed application and program fee must be submitted to Karen@networkpeninsula.org by January 5, 2024.

Expectations:

  • Confidentiality – a signed waiver ensuring everyone’s privacy and confidentiality in what is shared during individual and group sessions will be required.
  • Scheduling –Application will include potential dates and times. We will do our best to schedule dates that are acceptable by all applicants accepted into a Cohort.
  • Program Fees – if all dates selected do not fit with your schedule, there will be a short window of time to let us know, during which your program fee will be refunded. Outside of that window, refunds cannot be provided, but may be saved for a future Cohort.
