Beacon Institute: Veteran Pathways Home is a faith-based non-profit education organization 501(c)3 serving U. S. Armed Forces, Services Members, Veterans, and their Families since 2001. (SMVF is US DHHS SAMHSA identification.) We serve military because we are military and share the pathways to hope and healing providing SMVF Peer to Peer behavioral and holistic health education and peer support delivery services. Activities including but not limited to conducting education for other faith-based groups, maintaining sources of educational materials, engaging other community and neighborhood groups in coalitions, community organization strategic planning.
Williamsburg Faith in Action provides assistance with everyday tasks of life to seniors 60 and older living in Williamsburg, James City County, and the Bruton District of York County. Services are free of charge and include, but are not limited to: transportation, visiting, well-check calls, grocery shopping, assistance with chores, and yard work.

Grove Christian Outreach Center maintains an Outreach Center in the Grove area of James City County in order to minister to they physical and spiritual needs of the poor and disadvantaged in the community. They provide food, clothing, financial assistance, school supplies, holiday food baskets, Christmas baskets, shoebox gifts for kids, and a blessing room for families.
The Grove Community Garden exists in a food desert to provide opportunities for those in the community to grow their choice of nutritious vegetables, to educate the adults and children in the community about gardening and health and for the purpose of community building.
