Williamsburg Faith in Action‘s mission is to help senior adults age safely in their homes by providing transportation and other volunteer support services. We do this in Williamsburg, James City County and the Bruton District of York County by providing transportation, shopping, caregiver support, assistance with household chores, one-on-one visits, daily well-check calls, friendly phone visits, and light yard work.

Grove Christian Outreach Center maintains an Outreach Center in the Grove area of James City County in order to minister to they physical and spiritual needs of the poor and disadvantaged in the community. They provide food, clothing, financial assistance, school supplies, holiday food baskets, Christmas baskets, shoebox gifts for kids, and a blessing room for families.

The Denbigh House provides long-term community based support to survivors of brain injury residing on the VA Peninsula. Care Net Peninsula’s non-profit medical pregnancy center exists to inform and empower women in unplanned pregnancies so they can understand all of their choices. All services are free of charge. They offer: Crisis Pregnancy Intervention through their confidential options counseling; Medical Services like pregnancy testing & pregnancy confirmation by ultrasound; Parent Equipping in educational programs and by providing material assistance; and Support & Healing through an abortion recovery Bible study.
