Freekind (formerly known as Virginia Beach Justice Initiative) is a local faith based non-profit on a mission to prevent human trafficking and support those who have been exploited on their journey to freedom. We seek to restore the humanity that has been stolen by creating pathways to freedom, reigniting hope and helping survivors experience true belonging. We are accomplishing our mission through awareness and training, prevention eduction, and survivor support. We educate our community and provide industry specific training to community partners most likely to encounter victims such as law enforcement, legal and healthcare professionals, educators, social services and those in the hospitality industry. We also engage our local school systems with the Prevention Project, a middle and high school curriculum that is survivor informed and designed to prevent another generation of victims. Finally we build offramps to freedom for adult victims of human trafficking who have been incarcerated for crimes related to their victimization. Our re-entry services give survivors renewed hope for a life of freedom from abuse and empower them to pursue their dreams.
LINK of Hampton Roads links community resources to provide fast and affordable housing solutions to homeless individuals/families and veterans, as well as emergency services to men, women and children facing unmet basic needs, housing crises or other emergency situations.

Patient Advocate Foundation is a national 501(c)3 organization headquartered in Hampton, Virginia with a mission of “safeguarding patients through effective mediation assuring access to care, maintenance of employment and preservation of their financial stability.” Through case management, doctors and health care attorneys, PAF serves as an active liaison between patients and their insurer, employer and/or creditors to resolve insurance, job retention, and/or debt crisis matters relative to their diagnosis of a chronic, life-threatening or debilitating disease.

They provide a location in Hampton that is utilized by organizations to provide housing, day support, employment opportunities, therapy, and recreational activities.

Commonwealth Catholic Charities has worked to alleviate human suffering and restore, hope, dignity, and opportunities to Virginians since 1923. Services in Hampton Roads include financial counseling, immigration services, interpreter services, and refugee resettlement.
The Center is a nonprofit rape crisis center providing free services to anyone who has experienced sexual violence. Services include: 24-hour crisis line, hospital/court companionship, individual counseling support groups, psycho educational groups, community awareness events, and professional training.
Orphan Helpers is a multi-denominational Christian ministry dedicated to serving and ministering to spiritual, emotional, educational, and physical needs of orphaned, abused, and incarcerated children and youth in Central America.
Youth Volunteer Corps Hampton Roads engages youth, ages 11-18, in over 120 service projects each year. Volunteer projects are led by trained Team Leaders who make each service-learning project fun and rewarding.
