We have a great need for help in our Food Ministry.  We have been blessed to be able to pick up additional food on a weekly basis as well as on a more regular basis on behalf of the Foodbank.  These opportunities are a tremendous blessing to our clients giving them access to more food as well as other fun and unique products!  These additional blessings have also resulted in an additional work load on our Food Ministry Team.  We would welcome any help that you can give in the following areas of service:

Food Recovery

Pick up donated food at the following locations:


Publix:  8:00 – 9:00 a.m.
Harris Teeter:  8:30 – 9:30 a.m.


Food Lion (James York Plaza):  8:45 – 9:30 a.m.
Trader Joe’s:   8:00 – 9:30 a.m. (Large vehicle or truck)


Aldi:  9:00 a.m.


Food Lion (James York Plaza):  8:45 – 9:30 a.m.
(Until July)


Food Receiving

Sorting and putting away donated food delivered from area grocery stores and restaurants.


9:00 – 11:00 a.m.


11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.


9:15 – 11:30 a.m.


Pantry Restocking


9:00 – 11:30 a.m.


Pantry Assistant

Working with clients in getting their monthly food


8:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
