Annual Impact Forums

NetworkPeninsula / Annual Impact Forums

Our Annual Impact Forums bring together nonprofit leaders, community leaders, and senior-level decision makers from the public and private sectors to discuss emerging issues in the region. Presentations from nationally-known Keynote speakers, followed by roundtable discussions, all serve to identify the impact of these issues in our work and in the community at large. Previous topics have included “The Changing Face of Corporate Philanthropy,” “The Overhead Myth,” “Generational Dynamics in the Nonprofit, Public, and Private Sectors,” “Intentional Philanthropy,” and “Employee Engagement and Social Impact,” and “Current and Future State of the Nonprofit Sector.”

In 2022, we held our 10th Annual Impact Forum which also served as a our 15th Anniversary Celebration. The program included a focus on the power of true collaboration in our region and featured the Home First Program, a collaboration among 3E Restoration, Bacon Street Youth & Family Services, and the City of Williamsburg; and the team at Lackey Clinic about multiple collaborative initiatives they have launched with the City of Newport News, THRIVE Peninsula, Grove Christian Outreach Center, Gloucester Mathews Care Clinic, H.E.L.P., Olde Towne Medical Clinic, and others!
