The Harry & Judy Wason Scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to Peninsula public school students who attend a Virginia four-year college, university or nearby community college.  This scholarship is intended to provide educational assistance to students who have a financial need in order to attend college.  Financial assistance is the most crucial factor, however the applicants involvement in the school and the community as well as work experience is considered. The Junior League of Hampton Roads (JLHR) is awarding Volunteer Scholarships to support the volunteer potential of our youth by awarding one or more scholarships ranging from $500-$2000+ to female high school seniors demonstrating outstanding volunteer performance in the community. The 26th Annual Third Congressional District Art Competition is open to all high school students (grades 9-12) residing in the Third Congressional District of Virginia. Entries are due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12. To learn more, click here.
