Put Your Old Cell Phones to Good Use! – Verizon  is helping to end domestic violence by collecting no-longer-used wireless phones and accessories and turning them into support for domestic violence organizations nationwide. Through HopeLine, they have donated hundreds of thousands of phones and awarded millions of dollars in cash grants to their partner agencies. Phones should be cleared of any personal data, including contacts, messages, etc.  As part of the refurbishing process, phones donated to HopeLine are scrubbed prior to distributing them for reuse to ensure all customer data is removed. Donated phones are not tax deductible. Phones can be dropped off at any Verizon store or mailed using a postage paid label from Verizon. To learn more, click here.
