Empty Bowls Virginia Peninsula is engaged in a grassroots effort to raise both money and awareness in the fight against hunger in our local communities. We do this through a once a year event held the third Friday of March. Last year, we gave $26,000 to grantees — hunger-fighting organizations that distribute food to the community.
